Sanalac

Sanalac is the oldest powdered milk brand, and is sold in most major grocery establishments. In this assignment, I was asked to find a grocery item that I would be interested in rebranding. Here is a print concept that I created:

For this ad, I worked closely with an Art Director at Burrell Communications for the layout of the Angus Burgers. I chose the font color, and arranged the typography for the ad. The ad was printed on the back cover of Ebony Magazine for its September, 2009 issue.

L’Oreal Brandstorm

The L’Oreal Brandstorm marketing competition of 2009 took place during the entire Spring 2009 semester. In December, my team of three was chosen to compete in the Finalist category against NYU, BYU, U of Michigan and UT Austin. Our client was Maybelline, and were asked to create a fragrance, its packaging and an accompanying marketing campaign. Our product, which we named AIR, is a foaming fragrance. I designed the packaging of our product. We worked with Gotham, Inc. to create the ad for our final presentation to the L’Oreal and Gotham executives. Tide

In August of 2009, I was given an assignment to create a tv spot for Tide Coldwater by one of my supervisors at Burrell Communications. My overall concept presents Tide Coldwater as a detergent that is energy efficient,  and easy to use with superior cleaning performance.

Reese’s Puffs

For Reese’s Puffs, I was assigned a project at Burrell Communications to create a promotional campaign. The campaign was to include a 30 second radio spot, a 60 second radio spot, and a cereal box design. The overall concept presents Reese’s Puffs as a brand that makes extraordinary things happen. Lebron James is the central figure, and the Reese’s Puffs consumer would have a chance to win a limited edition version of the Lebron James VI shoe in Reese’s colors and host a basketball tournament featuring James in their city.

Literacy Campaign

Ad campaign created to promote literacy for children and young adults in under-resourced communities. The Hip Hop Educational Literacy Program (H.E.L.P.) offers cutting edge supplemental reading workbooks developed around the lyrics of popular Hip Hop songs. I was the art director for this group assignment.

Threshold Nation

Threshold Nation is a new division of Burrell Communications, targeted towards males ages 18-34. I redesigned the logo, and created business cards along with a blog design. The new blog is currently still undergoing revisions, however it can be visited at www.thresholdnation.com/blog.
